Who am I?
I am a marketing and creative services manager living in the Chicagoland area (Northwest suburbs, to be exact). I have been in the design & marketing world for over 12 years, working primarily in-house for various B2B and B2C companies. I currently work as a Creative Manager for a major multi-family property management company, although I am still available for freelance/contract jobs (just not for competing companies, sorry). I have a background in both print and web work, including website design & new site launches, social media management, brand building, catalogs, brochures, direct marketing pieces, e-mail blasts, product packaging & new product roll-outs, logos and more. In addition to my print and web design background, I also have experience in video production, including both working hand-in-hand with an outside production company as well as shooting and editing videos myself in-house.
Outside of my professional experience/training, I am also an avid movie geek. You will find that a large portion of my work on this site consists of alternative movie posters, which is my main hobby and passion. I began doing poster design work about 7 years ago and really love it. I have been featured in the Chicago Tribune and the LA Times, as well as the book Alternative Movie Posters: Film Art from the Underground by Mathew Chojnacki, which I can’t recommend highly enough. There is a surprisingly large community of poster designers out there doing really impressive work, many of which are featured in that book. I strongly recommend looking into them if you haven’t already. They are almost always better than the actual movie posters.
If you would like to work with me, or would like to commission any custom poster work, please feel free to get in touch with me. Thanks!
